Devlog #11 - Summoning Something New


Hello Talented Gamers!

It's been a while and after I nice long break I'm finally back with an update to development on Talented. (It has been happening, I promise!)

I won't make you wait a second longer, let me introduce you to the headline feature for the next update:

The Summoner


Using a powerful enchanted ring the summoner can bring forth helpers to fend off enemies. His basic attacks summon an honourable snail that won't back down from any opponent.

These snails may be slow but they can take a couple of hits before falling, delaying enemies until backup arrives. Making sure all directions are protected as early as possible is key to playing Summoner.

Unsurprisingly, most of the Summoner's Talents and Abilities allow you to summon new stuff, and empower the helpers you've summoned.

The Mastery Bug

I am aware of the bug that causes the Mastery Level to be set to an extremely high level (even if you don't have it unlocked!) making the game basically impossible. 

This bug will be fixed in the next major update, but for now if you have it you can click the left arrow and you should see the mastery level reduce.


It may take quite a few clicks to get it down to a sensible level. (I'd recommend 1-3 if you're just starting out!)

For now, thanks for taking the time to read this short update and for sticking with Talented while I took a break. Hopefully the space between devlogs will reduce quite a bit now!
