Devlog #4 - Makeover


Hello Legendary Talents!

This week was very much a week of polishing, and upgrading visuals. So let's jump right into it! 

I can finally reveal the new look for the Archer, our long range, quick attacking class. Made by my good friend Ryue!


The Archer will be focussed on outputting a huge amount of damage by firing a barrage of arrows. His low health point total makes him an easy target for sneaky enemies, but fortunately abilities such as laying mines or building temporary barriers will help keep him safe.

Updating the UI

As the game gets deeper and more complex, screen space becomes a valuable asset that must be protected at all costs. The original UI was very much something I threw together for the original Game Jam, over the next few updates you'll see the quality and usability of the UI improve. I'd love to hear about any useful features/improvements you'd like to see added over on the Discord.

A much asked for feature, you can now see your max Health and Magic Points on the Talent Screen.

New Talents

Finally, as you'd expect with a new class, there are a ton of new Talents! This is also a great excuse to show off more adorable icons by Ryue!

All in all, a ton of progress! I won't put an exact date on it because I don't want to release 0.3.X before I'm happy with it, but at the rate things are going you can expect it very soon.
